MINERVA enhances patient outcomes by improving diagnostic efficiency, speed, and accuracy, while reducing healthcare costs.
At its heart MINERVA is combines Computer-Aided Detection (CADe) and Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CADx) functionality with Deep Learning Architectures.
MINERVA has analysed tens of thousands of images and diagnoses of varying pathologies, and then combined that with thousand of images of healthy tissues/organs.
MINERVA is able to not only perform the identification of an anomaly across dozens of diseases, but also provide characterisation of the pathology i.e. the distinction between benign and malignant tumours.
MINERVA then reports suggested findings to the Radiology team as a draft medical report as the patient completes Radiography.
The goal of MINERVA is to improve the accuracy of Radiologists along with a reduction of time in the interpretation of images and provisioning of a medical diagnosis.
As a result, Radiology teams augmented with MINERVA are able to improve patient outcomes by significantly increasing diagnostic speed, throughput, and accuracy, while also reducing costs within healthcare systems.
